While nails and crafts don't typically go together I know many people who are just as passionate about them as I am. I wanted to sell not only beautiful dip powder but also gorgeous glitters. The window into who I am is really this little shop. From how we name our products to the products we sell this is my story.
It is important for me to say that I was never into girly things. Throughout my life I just never cared about my nails. I saw some ads to try dip powder and I decided, why not? I cannot even polish my nails without it looking like a freak accident. This was a big leap. After ongoing practice I started to feel this beauty come through from my nails. It wasn't only beauty but for me it was a creative outlet. I wanted to make my own dips and eventually I decided to take on the journey to sell them too.
With the shop coming to life I have been excited to also sell glitter and other nail products that I personally love too. As I expand I hope to also add videos and how-tos to help others with dipping their nails and also how to open their own passion shops. With my husband by my side I feel we can create a shop to be proud of.
The part of dipping my nails I never saw coming, beyond the beauty and health of my nailbeds, was the health of my mind. I have suffered through depression and anxiety and one concept I never understood was mindfulness. When I am dedicating my time to do my nails and give myself that self love it nurtures my mind. It makes me feel I am caring for myself, therefore feeling cared for. In truth, despite being anxious or depressed, it is something that we all need.
